Juventus have remained in contact with Victor Osimhen’s agents, but they have also reached an agreement with Jonathan David, a striker they’ve been chasing since 2023.

Canadian striker David has reached an agreement with Juventus , a team that has been following the Lille forward since 2023.

Details behind David’s agreement with Juventus

Sources with knowledge of the matter tell me that David has agreed to sign a €6m-a-year contract with the Serie A giants and that the agreement includes bonuses between €1m and €2m per season.

The main issue still concerns agent fees as the striker’s representatives demand more than €10m to get the deal done.

David has also received offers from Turkish and Saudi clubs, but he’s very much open to showing his worth in Serie A.

Inter dropped David weeks ago, while Antonio Conte’s Napoli opted for a different profile after reaching a complete agreement with the Canada international.

Juventus still in contact with Osimhen

The Partenopei have now made Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez their priority in attack.

Juventus have also continued talks with Osimhen, aware that his transfer situation may change from one day to the next, particularly due to his €75m release clause and interest from Saudi teams.

Signing David would give Juventus even more time to convince PSG to extend Randal Kolo Muani’s loan as the striker’s temporary stay in Turin ends after the Club World Cup.
