Inter Milan defender Alessandro Fontanarosa is set to join Serie B side Avellino.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, via FCInter1908.
Defender Alessandro Fontanarosa has come to the end of a season on loan with Reggiana and Carrarese.
The young defender had spent the previous season on loan with Cosenza.
Now, the question is where Fontanarosa will go next. The 22-year-old hardly has a place at Inter – therefore, the Nerazzurri have been looking for a new club for him.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Fontanarosa has found a new club.
Avellino have been looking to bolster their squad. This after they won promotion to Serie B from the third division.
And Di Marzio reports that Avellino have agreed a deal to sign defender Alessandro Fontanarosa from Inter.
The Sky transfer expert further reports that this will be a permanent transfer. Fontanarosa will not be going out on another loan.
Furthermore, Italian transfer reporter Matteo Moretto additionally reveals that Inter will receive a sell-on fee.
