Parma have agreed a loan with option to buy for Como striker Patrick Cutrone, after Gaetano Oristanio underwent his medical from Venezia in a deal worth €8m.

The Ducali are being very active in the final few days of the transfer session, especially after starting the season with some bad news.

They had to deal with serious injuries to Jacob Ondrejka and new signing Matias Frigan, which will rule them out for five to six months.

Oristanio and Cutrone new arrivals for Parma

With that in mind, Oristanio was snapped up from Venezia on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, and he underwent his medical tests today.

The total cost of that transfer should be €8m, with Inter owed 30 per cent of that.

This evening, Sky Sport Italia announced that Parma have also secured a deal with Como for centre-forward Cutrone.

It will again be a loan move with option to buy at the end of the campaign.

The 27-year-old shot to fame at Milan as a product of their youth academy, then was sold to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2019 for €18m.

He struggled with spells at Fiorentina, Valencia and Empoli, until the €2m sale to Como in 2022.
