Leeds United and West Ham United are reportedly targeting Artem Dovbyk, and if he is sold, Roma will reinvest in Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic.
Dovbyk was a big investment from FC Girona last summer for €38.5m, but has struggled to replicate his form in LaLiga to Serie A football.
The situation seems to have gone from bad to worse under new coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who has very different requirements for his centre-forward.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Leeds United sent scouts to watch the Ukraine international during the friendly encounter with Everton over the weekend.
West Ham United had already been interested in the striker, who a Premier League move could be on the horizon.
If he is sold, then the Giallorossi already have his replacement in mind, as Lecce star Krstovic is eager to make the move to the Stadio Olimpico.
Curiously, Leeds United had approached Krstovic first, but he wants to remain in Serie A and turned them down.
