Egypt will take on the Ivory Coast this Saturday, Jan. 10, at 11:00 a.m. PT, 2:00 p.m. ET, at Le Grand Stade Agadir, for the Quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

AFCON has now entered the most crucial part of the knockout stage. Egypt advanced from the Round of 16 after a 3-1 extra-time win over Benin on Jan. 5, with Mohamed Salah among the scorers.

For its part, Ivory Coast reached the last eight by defeating Burkina Faso 3-0 on Jan. 6, continuing a strong run after topping their group.

Hossam Hassan’s national team arrives in good spirits for this match, with Egypt boasting a solid defensive record and Salah in form with three goals in the tournament. On the other hand, the Ivory Coast comes in led by Amad Diallo, who has three goals, and Franck Kessié pulling the strings in midfield.
