Meanwhile, Real Madrid has lost only one of its last five matches. In its most recent game, it drew 0-0 away to Rayo Vallecano on Nov. 9.

While the Martinez Valero team is in 12th place in LaLiga with 15 points after 12 games, the Merengues are in 2nd place with 31 points.

Elche boss Eder Sarabia will try to add the club’s next three points of the season. Sarabia’s side held Real Sociedad to a draw in his latest league match.
