Elliot Anderson officially signs for Manchester City

Elliot Anderson has officially completed his transfer to Manchester City after the Premier League champions confirmed the signing from Nottingham Forest.

The 23-year-old midfielder has signed a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium after establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s standout midfielders over the past two seasons.

Anderson had also been linked with Manchester United earlier this summer as Michael Carrick looked to strengthen his midfield, but the England international has instead chosen a move across Manchester.

Manchester City confirmed the transfer on their official website, with Anderson describing the club as “one of the biggest in the world” after completing the move.
