Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo received great news this week, as their son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., was crowned champion.
Ronaldo Jr., 15, represented Portugal U-16 in the Football Federations Cup U-16. The Portuguese team defeated England in the final on Tuesday, November 4.
The son of Georgina and Cristiano entered the match in the 90th minute, but in the previous match, in which they defeated Wales 3-0, he had more participation and even scored in the 42nd minute.
The young player's mother made a post on Instagram to celebrate this achievement. "I love being a mom. I am very proud of my big boy," she wrote.
Great news also for Cristiano Ronaldo, who will not be playing this Wednesday in Al Nassr vs. Goa for the AFC Cup, but who will surely return to action on Saturday, November 8 in the Saudi Pro League, when he visits NEOM SC.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. is 15 years old and plays in the Al Nassr academy, logically, for logistical reasons.
Ronaldo Jr. was born in La Mesa, California, USA, on June 17, 2010. His recent goal with Portugal U-16 is the first he has scored in that category, but in May of this same year, he scored a brace with Portugal U-15, in a match against Croatia, corresponding to the International Tournament "Vlatko Markovic."
Ronaldo Jr. has already been part of the Juventus and Manchester United academies before his father made the jump to Saudi Arabia.
His main position is left winger, just like his father, but he has also played as a right winger. His preferred foot is the right and he measures 1.85m.
He has already represented Portugal in youth divisions, but due to his place of birth, he is also eligible to represent the United States.
