Enzo Raiola opened up on continuous talks linking Paris Saint-Germain star Gianluigi Donnarumma with a shock move to Inter Milan.

Speaking to FCInterNews, Raiola confirmed Inter’s interest in the former AC Milan goalkeeper.

However, he also confirmed there’s no ongoing discussion between the parties.

Gianluigi Donnarumma left San Siro to join Les Parisiens as a free agent in 2021 after running down his contract at Milan.

Four years later, the 26-year-old won a maiden Champions League title.

Indeed, he was between the sticks as PSG romped Inter 5-0 in the Munich showpiece last weekend.

Interestingly, the Nerazzurri could be the Italy captain’s next club if recent rumors are anything to go by.

Donnarumma’s deal at the Parc des Princes runs out next summer, and he has yet to put pen to paper on a new contract.

Meanwhile, Inter are in the market for a new goalkeeper as Yann Sommer set one foot in retirement.

Therefore, this could be a perfect match despite the star stopper’s past.

Enzo Raiola Delivers Verdict on Rumors Linking Gianluigi Donnarumma with Inter Milan

“During the celebration, we also had some talks with the PSG management,” Raiola started. “We agreed to revisit things soon, without any rush. That’s fine by us.

“Gigio, actually, the day before the match, went into Inter’s locker room to greet his national teammates,” he added. “And they appreciated the gesture of affection.”

When asked whether there’s something going on behind the scenes amid intense rumors, he replied: “No, just compliments.”

Then, he discussed Simone Inzaghi’s sudden exit.

“I don’t think it was something that just came up overnight. In my opinion, there was something already going on.

“Of course, they had to prepare for the Champions League final, but I don’t believe the future was decided the day after.

“They already had the idea that the coach would leave, and they took precautions.

“There aren’t that many experienced coaches available right now, but they have their priorities, and I think they’ll make the right choices soon.

“After all, who wouldn’t want to coach Inter? Anyone would love to coach that team and build something significant.”
