Estevao waxes lyrical over two 'spectacular' Chelsea stars, 'getting closer' with them

It’s been a big move for the teenager, but he’s certainly been helped by having fellow Brazilians Joao Pedro and Andrey Santos at the club.

Estevao has revealed he’s really close with his fellow countryman, and also heaped praise on their footballing ability.

“Andrey and João are spectacular; they’re not here for nothing,” he told Globo.

“Of course, I’ve been getting closer to them since the beginning. When you arrive, you don’t know what things are like, but you learn.

“The training intensity is higher here, and that reflects in the game. I’m managing to keep up with the pace.”

Chelsea have Brazilian feel to them

Whilst Estevao is making headlines, Pedro and Santos have both made impressive starts to their Chelsea careers.

Pedro has five goal contributions in seven league matches, whilst he also scored three goals in three games at the Club World Cup.

Santos has had less opportunities, but he’s also impressed and will be a valuable option to have in midfield throughout the season.
