Europa League draw: Roma and Bologna to face Celtic

Both Italian sides will face Celtic, but while Roma will have to travel to Scotland, Bologna will host the defending Scottish champions at the Dall’Ara.

Roma have also been drawn with Celtic’s main rivals, Rangers, in another game the Giallorossi will play away.

Aston Villa and Bologna meet again

Roma will also meet two French clubs, Lille at home and Nice away and host Midtjylland, Viktoria Plzen and Stuttgart.

Bologna will travel to England to face Aston Villa, one of their Champions League rivals in 2024-25, and Spain for a meeting with Celta Vigo.

UEFA will unveil the fixture list for the league phase of the Europa League tomorrow, Saturday, August 30.
