Everton is breathing a little easier after back-to-back wins pulled the team out of the relegation zone and into 16th place on the Premier League table. A week ago, Everton stunned with an upset of third-place Chelsea, and it rolled that momentum into a 2-1 win against Leicester City.
Vitaliy Mykolenko got the scoring started for Everton just over five minutes into the match Sunday with a tremendous volley from the top of the box.

Leicester City controlled possession for 66 percent of the match, but only managed to get one of its nine shots on goal past Everton's goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Everton hasn't won back-to-back matches in Premier League play since beating Brighton and Burnley in the third and fourth matches of the season in August and September. The pair of wins put the team at 35 points on the season, one ahead of both Burnley and Leeds United.
While Burnley and Leeds United only have three matches left to avoid finishing 18th place and getting relegated, Everton has four. Watford and Norwich City are already guaranteed to finish in the bottom two.
