Ex Bayern Munich Keeper Declares ‘I Have A Positive Feeling’ Ahead Of PSG Vs Inter Milan Champions League Final – Adds ‘I Rewatched The Save’ On Barcelona Star Yamal

Inter keeper Yann Sommer is 36, but this will be his first Champions League final. “This a nice way to end my career,” he said of being here in the closing stages of his playing days.

Meanwhile, Sommer admitted that he rewatched his incredible save on Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal “a few times.”

“It was an important save. But for me, it was even better to see how we all played together. And then that goal from Frattesi that took us to extra time, and then Frattesi’s goal.”

Then, Yann Sommer commented that “the Champions League season has been totally different for us.”

“In the league we did well. But we dropped too many important points.”

“Now it’s a different story,” Sommer added. “We need to have the courage and focus that we’ve had throughout all our European matches.”

“We’ve deservedly reached the final,” the 36-year-old insisted.

Then, Sommer said that he’s “not thinking about” the prospect of a penalty shootout against PSG.

“Because there’s a whole match to prepare for,” he explained. “Like against Bayern and Barcelona.”

“But if it does come down to penalties, we’ll certainly study it,” he added.
