Chelsea have won their second league game of the season and the first at Stamford Bridge after defeating Fulham 2-0. The win sparked controversy after a few plays in the match that could've resulted in a different outcome.
One of the plays in the match was Fulham's disallowed goal in the first half, when Joshua King thought he had scored the opener in the 21st minute.
The 17-year-old scored past Robert Sanchez, but before the goal, Rodrigo Muniz accidentally stepped on Trevoh Chalobah when attempting a 'roulette' move.

The goal was disallowed after a VAR review, and many online believed it was the wrong decision. Fulham manager Marco Silva was furious with the decision to disallow the goal, and two former Chelsea players agree with him.
Marco Silva: "I don’t want to say anymore because I’ll be punished. I want to be on the bench next game, I don't want to pay fines, I want to help our players but it's been difficult for us this start of the season with so many decisions that isn't our way."

Jason Cundy and Joe Cole spoke about the VAR in the match between Chelsea and Fulham, and the two agreed that the refereeing got it wrong for Fulham.
Cundy believes that Chelsea got away with the disallowed goal in the first half while Joe Cole was extremely frustrated wth VAR and questions the point of the system.
On the Chelsea Official App, Jason Cundy expressed how lucky the team was when VAR decided to disallow the goal for Muniz stepping on Chalobah in the build-up to the disallowed Fulham goal.
Jason Cundy: "There is absolutely no doubt he makes contact with him. It’s a coming together… It’s not a foul… I’m Chelsea through and through, but I also like to think I can be objective about things when things don’t go our way. It’s not a foul. We’ve dodged a bullet.”
On TNT Sports, Joe Cole was furious with how VAR interrupts the flow of the game and believes it is hurting the Premier League and football in general. He questions the decision to disallow the Fulham goal after the review decided it was a careless tackle.
Joe Cole: "'Careless tackle'. You don't think about taking care when you go in for a tackle. It's already going like that [non-contact sport].... It's not good for football...We would be better off getting rid of it [VAR]."
“We would be better off getting rid of VAR.”
