Thiago Motta and Raffaele Palladino have both been offered to Inter Milan as replacements for Simone Inzaghi.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are currently working furiously to find a replacement for Simone Inzaghi.
On Monday, the 49-year-old informed the Nerazzurri that he intended to step down. He left to join Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.
In the meantime, Inter have been working to try and convince Como Cesc Fabregas to become Inzaghi’s successor.
However, there is certainly no guarantee that the Spaniard will actually join.
Therefore, Inter have also been looking at other candidates to replace Inzaghi.
Two former Inter players are reportedly among the top candidates. These are Parma coach Christian Chivu and Genoa’s Patrick Vieira.
However, reports FCIN, there are a couple other notable coaches who have been offered to Inter.
Firstly, there’s another former Inter midfielder in the form of Thiago Motta.
Motta was in charge of Juventus last season. However, he and the Bianconeri parted ways after a major downturn in form and reported tensions behind the scenes in March.
Then, there has also been Raffaele Palladino.
The former Monza coach spent last season in charge of Fiorentina. However, he abruptly stepped down at the end of the campaign.
