Ex-Venezia midifielder Tomislav Rukavina says that Petar Sucic “has taken advantage of his opportunity at Inter Milan right away.”

Rukavina spoke to Croatian outlet Vecernjilist.hr, via FCInterNews. He gave his thoughts on the young signing for the Nerazzurri and breakout international with Croatia.

Inter Milan signed Petar Sucic this summer.

The Nerazzurri had in fact already agreed a deal for the 21-year-old all the way back in February. However, he remained at Dinamo Zagreb until the end of last season.

However, upon his arrival at Inter in June, Sucic made an immediate impact.

The Croatian international featured for Inter throughout the Club World Cup.

Then, Sucic has become even more prominent in Inter’s lineup at the start of the Serie A season. He has started both of the Nerazzurri’s first two league matches against Torino and Udinese.

Rukavina: “Petar Sucic Has Taken Advantage Of His Opportunity At Inter Milan Right Away”

Rukavina declared that “as far as Sucic, he could be a surprise for all of is.”

“Particularly since he’s his opportunity in the Inter starting eleven right away. And he’s immediately taken advantage of it.”

“Petar just has to keep in mind that he can’t relax,” he said.

“Because Inter is a big club, and they bring in multiple top players every transfer window.”

“Being at Inter today doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll still be there tomorrow,” Rukavina commented.
