Tottenham could lose Mikey Moore in the summer as Borussia Dortmund interest lingers

Tottenham Hotspur starlet Mikey Moore has made some significant waves in England this season. The 17-year-old has featured in the first-team squad regularly under Ange Postecoglou and he has already become a fan favourite at N17. Spurs are now facing the prospect of losing Mikey Moore in the summer. The 17-year-old has felt frustrated with the lack of game time this season under Ange Postecoglou. Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg (via BVB Newsblog) has revealed that Borussia Dortmund is keeping tabs on the youngster and the German club wants to bring Moore to the Signal Iduna Park for next season.

However, Tottenham are not willing to let the teenage sensation go on a permanent move. The Lilywhites are open to send Mikey Moore on loan instead and it is believed that the 17-year-old will go to a Premier League club to gain maximum experience in the English top-flight. The versatile winger also signed a new contract at N17 until 2027, so it will be tough for Dortmund to crack a permanent deal for the teenager.

Mikey Moore is an exceptional talent coming through the ranks of Spurs, and fans will hope that the teenager spends his peak years at N17. His ability to weave past defenders and create chances for his teammates makes him a standout player. The 17-year-old also tends to carry the ball well in the final third of the pitch and has the ability to carve out chances in tight spaces.
