Exclusive: Lazio Will Only Sell PSG Target for Irresistible Offer

Lazio have yet to receive a concrete offer for their defender Mario Gila, and they don’t plan to deprive themselves of his services this summer.

The Spaniard’s impressive displays for the Biancocelesti attracted the attention of several suitors around Europe. While the possibility of a return to Real Madrid faded following Dean Huijsen’s transfer from Bournemouth, other clubs have emerged as potential destinations, including Paris Saint-Germain.

However, we can exclusively confirm that the newly-crowned European champions haven’t submitted an offer for Gila. In fact, the Parisians haven’t even enquired about the defender’s services.

No PSG Offer for Mario Gila

At this stage, there is no evidence suggesting that PSG have an interest in Gila, but he still has a market in Europe. Nevertheless, Lazio will be hoping to maintain his services for next season, keeping his defensive partnership with Alessio Romagnoli intact, as it will have a major role to play in Maurizio Sarri’s second reign.

Let’s not forget that Real Madrid also have a 50% sell-on fee, so Lazio would only accept to sell Gila if they were to receive an immense offer they can’t resist.
