Football Italia can exclusively confirm Napoli are progressing in their pursuit of Bologna forward Dan Ndoye and met with his agent today.

We had already reported on Football Italia that Ndoye was the first choice in the wide attacking role for Antonio Conte.

It was also noted that the Switzerland international is eager to make the move to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona this summer.

Ndoye pushing for Napoli move

Now there is further progress in the negotiations, as we can reveal exclusively that representatives of the club met with Ndoye’s agents in Rome today.

The 24-year-old scored nine goals with six assists in 41 competitive appearances for Bologna this season.

Napoli are trying to secure an agreement with Bologna too, although the €40m asking price is a steep one.

There is already tension between the two clubs, as talks for defender Sam Beukema have been tough to break through as well.

However, they are trying to keep the two transfer deals separate.
