Celtic beat Motherwell in dramatic circumstances as a Daizen Maeda goal in injury time delivered the three points for Brendan Rodgers’ side. At one point, it could’ve been a very different afternoon for Celtic as Motherwell went 2-1 up in the second half.

However, Celtic dug deep and were celebrating at the end. During the game, there were a few protests made against the Celtic Board, despite tomorrow’s meeting.

The Celtic hierarchy are set to meet with various supporters’ groups tomorrow with the current setup at the club on the agenda. Supporters are demanding change with the club’s currents set up after failing to prepare for the transfer window, resulting in the exit from the UCL at the hands of Kairat Almaty.

During the game, an explicit banner that was first displayed in the North Curve made its way round to the Main Stand, in front of the Celtic Board.

Celtic will go into the break on a high after the win ended a three game run without a win but the focus for Brendan and his team will be to find fluency in their play as well as that attacking quality.
