Tottenham Hotspur are now closing in on the capture of Thomas Frank as their new manager.
The 51-year-old has done an impressive job at Brentford, and he is expected to take over as the replacement for Ange Postecoglou.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Brentford will release him from his contract for a fee of around £10 million. Tottenham have already agreed on personal terms with the manager.
The Australian was recently shown the door after a disappointing Premier League campaign, where Tottenham finished 17th on the table. For a club of their stature, it is simply unacceptable. Tottenham will look to bounce back strongly next year, and Frank will be expected to get them back on track.
The Danish manager has shown that he can work with limited resources, and he got his team to punch above their weight in the Premier League. There is no doubt that he could do an excellent job at Tottenham with more resources and better players.
