As we approach Fantasy Football Matchweek 32 of the Premier League, scheduled from Friday, April 10, to Monday, April 13, it’s essential for FPL managers to strategise effectively to maximise their points.
Here are some FPL tips to assist you in making informed decisions for the first Premier League action after the final international break of the season.
The Fantasy Football deadline for double Gameweek 32 is Friday, April 10, 18:30 GMT.
Friday, April 10
Saturday, April 11
Sunday, April 12
Monday, April 13
One of the biggest stories to come out during the international break was that Arsenal had a starting XI worth of players withdrawing from international duty.
Most of those players are fit enough to play, having been able to return for the FA Cup and/or UEFA Champions League action ahead of the return of the Premier League.
Still out, however, are Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Jurrien Timber and Piero Hincapie.
Iliman Ndiaye sustained a foot injury, but is expected to be available for picking when Everton face Brentford.
Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez is facing a ban and will therefore be unavailable for Sunday’s big game against Manchester City. His absence is a result of an interview he did during the international break, where he implied that he was unsure of his future at Chelsea.
Chelsea vs Man City has been an entertaining fixture in recent years. However, City haven’t lost to Chelsea since the UCL final in 2021, and are unlikely to lose out too much against Liam Rosenior’s side.
Man City might just win this, and that might just mean that Erling Haaland (£14.4m) will score. He enjoyed a hat-trick against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Antoine Semenyo (£8.2m) had a goal and an assist against Liverpool, and is likely to continue his good form against another inconsistent side.
Manchester United take on Leeds this weekend – a game that may bear positive results for Michael Carrick. March Player of the Month Bruno Fernandes (£10.3m) is Mr Consistent, and therefore a good choice. Casemiro (£5.7m), Benjamin Sesko (£7.4m) and Cunha (£8.0m) are also in strong form, making them good options for Gameweek 32.
Sunderland host Tottenham on Sunday, and unbelievably, it’s not the newly promoted side that’s fighting for Premier League survival. 11th-placed Sunderland are likely to enjoy playing against 17th-placed Tottenham. The Black Cats provide FPL managers with in-form and affordable players such as Nordi Mukiele (£4.5m), Omar Alderete (£4.1m), Chemsdine Talbi (£4.9m), Brian Brobbey (£5.3m) and Granit Xhaka (£5.1m).
Other Fantasy Football Matchweek 32 must-haves include Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon (£7.4m), Brentford’s Michael Kayode (£4.6m) and Igor Thiago (£7.3m).
