Tottenham star Richarlison is linked with a move to Fluminense

Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison has just not got going at N17 since making the switch from Everton. The Brazil international has struggled with injuries throughout his tenure at the club. He has also fallen down the pecking order under Ange Postecoglou this season and a possible summer exit looms large.

With Dominic Solanke ahead in the pecking order, Richarlison needs to decide whether he intends to stay at Spurs beyond this season or not. The 28-year-old arrived at North London with high hopes after a successful stint at Goodison Park. The prolific striker was touted as the perfect backup partner to Harry Kane. But the performances on the pitch have just not improved and fans have also showcased their frustration regarding his impact.

As per Sofascore , the Spurs No.9 has played just 21 games in all competitions this season, scoring five goals and providing two assists. He has also registered just 855 minutes of first-team football and has struggled to stay fit for crucial parts of the campaign. His most recent goal involvement came in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final against Bodo/Glimt, when he set up Brennan Johnson for the opening goal.

Fluminense interested in signing Tottenham star Richarlison

Tottenham are facing a massive summer ahead. The Lilywhites are expected to offload many underperforming players after enduring a disastrous campaign. It was reported earlier that Spurs were ready to listen to offers for Richarlison as he is no longer in Ange Postecoglou’s plans. The report also suggested that Daniel Levy would only sell the Brazilian for the right price, after spending more than £50m for his services.

Now, Bolavip Brazil state that Fluminense are interested in signing the 28-year-old in the summer. The Brazilian club are long-term admirers of the prolific striker and hope to bring him back to the club. The Spurs No.9 intends to stay in Europe as he looks to play for a top league next season. So, Fluminense will have to convince him to join the club if they want to sanction a move.

It was reported earlier that Everton were also interested in signing Richarlison again. The Toffees are looking to strengthen their attack and believe that the 28-year-old would be the ideal fit to lead the line. The striker is also leaning towards a return to Goodison Park, as he looks to rejuvenate his career in the Premier League.

Daniel Levy will need to oversee a massive squad overhaul in the summer. With Richarlison heading for the exit doors in the summer, Spurs will need to bring in a quality replacement to fill the void left behind by the Brazilian. Tottenham are interested in signing Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic as they look to replace the Brazil international in the summer.
