Managers and coaches who have been associated with Manchester United continue to make moves across the football landscape as they aim for success.
One of these is Jose Mourinho whose future at Benfica is increasingly uncertain after just one season at the club.
Mourinho has been linked with a move to his former club Real Madrid with planned talks between the two parties to discuss a potential deal.
With the 63-year-old demanding full control and a significant say over transfers in the upcoming transfer window, there may be a period of negotiation that happens before anything is agreed.
Back in England, Kieran McKenna continues to make his presence felt in the management scene with him guiding Ipswich Town to an automatic promotion in the Championship.
The second placed finish means that McKenna is set to guide Ipswich in the Premier League next season and could even reunite with Manchester United, a club where he was once both a coach and an assistant coach.
Now, however, it appears that the possibility of Kieran McKenna being with the Tractor Boys at the start of next season is in danger with SunSport reporting that he is likely to leave the club this summer if he receives an offer from another Premier League club.
McKenna has been with Ipswich Town since the end of 2021 and has, in that time, guided the club to three promotions and a short-lived Premier League spell of just one season.
Being promoted to the Premier League for the second time in the manager’s leadership, the club may have aspirations of staying up and solidifying themselves as a serious team in the English top flight.
Should Kieran McKenna leave, though, these aspirations could be thrown into jeopardy and Ipswich may be forced to look towards alternative paths in the aim of success.
