Ange-Yoan Bonny says he is “hoping to score many more” after netting the winner in Inter Milan’s friendly win over Monaco.
The Frenchman spoke to InterTV, via FCInterNews, after the 2-1 victory.
Inter Milan beat Ligue 1 side Monaco in a friendly match this evening.
The Nerazzurri had to do it the hard way, though. Firstly, Monaco went ahead within a couple minutes.
Maghnes Akliouche took the lead within two minutes for the host.
Then, Hakan Calhanoglu got a straight red card for a late tackle.
However, Inter came back in the first half. Firstly, Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez equalized. Then, summer signing Age-Yoan Bonny got on the scoresheet to complete the comeback.
Striker Angr-Yoan Bonny admitted that it was “incredible” after he scored his goal against Monaco.
“We all pushed up together to put on the pressure. We succeeded, and then I scored a great goal.”
“I hope to score many more!” the Frenchman added.
Bonny beamed that “we were great.”
“We were down to ten men,” the 21-year-old noted. “But we did well to take back control of the situation.”
Bonny called this “a great sign for the team.”
