Fulham, Beşiktaş and Ajax are among the clubs interested in Roma defender Zeki Celik, as the Giallorossi have not prioritised a contract extension beyond 2026.
Premier League side Fulham are among the clubs exploring a deal for Roma defender Celik, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.
Celik’s contract at the Stadio Olimpico runs out in 2026, and according to the transfer expert, an extension is not among the Giallorossi’s priorities.
Therefore, Fulham, Beşiktaş and Ajax have shown interest in the 28-year-old who had become a regular starter in the second part of the season under Claudio Ranieri.
The former Giallorossi boss is now an advisor to Roma owner Dan Friedkin and had input in the appointment of Gian Piero Gasperini this summer.
The new Roma boss will have the final say over Celik’s stay at the Stadio Olimpico after the first few days of the pre-season.
Celik is on the verge of beginning his fourth season at Roma, having joined the Giallorossi in a €7.4m deal from Lille in 2022.
