Alejandro Garnacho is still linked with a move to Napoli, but talks between the Partenopei and intermediaries have been on hold since last January.
Some Italian media continue to link Garnacho with a move to Napoli, but sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me that negotiations between the two parties have not resumed since the 2025 January transfer window.
Back then, Garnacho was a Napoli transfer target to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but the Partenopei failed to reach an agreement to secure his signature and contacts between the defending Serie A champions and intermediaries have not resumed since.
Garnacho is having a tricky situation at Manchester United, which is, perhaps, why somebody still links the Argentine winger with a move to the Stadio Maradona.
The truth, however, is that Napoli and Garnacho haven’t been in contact since last January, and currently, negotiations between the two parties have not resumed.
Napoli remain on the market for an attacking winger, and Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling is one of their targets for the summer.
