Gianluca Di Marzio Confirms Cesc Fabregas Arrival At Inter Milan Remains Alive But 'Complicated'

Despite earlier refusal, there’s still a chance for Cesc Fabregas to take over the managerial reins at Inter Milan.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio admits the track is still alive, though he insists the road remains ‘complicated.’

Earlier today, Cesc Fabregas outlined his ambition to stay at Como, stating he ‘really believes in this project.’

Though it was supposed to be a hammer blow to Inter’s hopes of landing the 38-year-old, there’s still hope.

Indeed, the parties possibly had a contact in London tonight, with Inter making a last-ditch attempt to change Fabregas’ mind.

Despite earning promotion to senior management only last summer, Fabregas has become an influential figure at Como.

Indeed, Como president Mirwan Suwarso is desperate to keep the former Arsenal midfielder at the club.

Per Fabregas’ recent statement, the feeling is mutual, yet Inter remain hopeful of getting a deal over the line.

Unfortunately, the only way for the Nerazzurri to sign Fabregas is for the manager to force his exit at Giuseppe Sinigagliga.

In case Fabregas doesn’t change his mind, Inter will turn to Genoa head coach Patrick Vieira.
