'He gives me Neymar vibes' – Joe Cole reacts to another class performance from Chelsea man

Former Chelsea player Joe Cole was on hand to react to another class performance from one current rising star.

You look at players sometimes and you just think that they have it, they have something about them, that x-factor, something that just makes them stand out as a maverick player. Chelsea have lacked these in recent years, but now that looks to be changing.

I think Chelsea now currently have two maverick players – Cole Palmer and Estevao Willian. And they have also been put in the same category by manager Enzo Maresca last night.

The comments came after Chelsea thrashed Ajax 5-1 last night in their Champions League clash after a flurry of goals in quick succession saw a comfortable win for The Blues in front of their home fans.

Estevao obviously grabbed one of these goals as well with a beautifully converted penalty after winning it himself.

He was superb all game and to be honest, he’s really bust onto the scene for Chelsea this season and has looked superb throughout so far.

Neymar vibes

Estevao has been compared with Brazilian legend Neymar quite a few times before, and now he’s getting that comparison again.

Joe Cole was a pundit for the game last night and said about Estevao at the end of the game:

“He’s brilliant, he’s such a good watch. Every time I watch him, I say it all the time: he gives me Neymar vibes.

“He goes both ways, he’s got brilliant balance and from the first moment he pulled on a Chelsea shirt in a friendly here, he came on for 20 minutes and had the crowd on their feet two or three times. He’s one of those players you love watching…”
