Hellas Verona wingback Rafik Belghali impressed Inter Milan chiefs in yesterday’s Serie A showdown at Marc’Antonio Bentegodi.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Algerian star shone bright against the Scudetto contenders.

Inter left it late to beat Verona in their last Serie A outing, securing a last-gasp 2-1 victory, courtesy of Martin Frese’s own goal.

However, it was far from a convincing display from Cristian Chivu’s side as they struggled on both ends of the pitch.

Rafik Belghali’s tricky feet and pace made the Nerazzurri suffer at the back.

Indeed, Belghali made himself a menace for Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Dimarco.

Belghali’s performances have matched the level of impact Inter had hoped Luis Henrique would provide when they signed him from Marseille.
