Hakan Calhanoglu registered an assist as Inter Milan saw off Hellas Verona in a dramatic Serie A clash on Sunday afternoon. 

According to the Italian media via L’Interista, the Turkish playmaker was Inter’s most creative player at Marc’Antonio Bentegodi.

Inter Milan pulled off a late win against Verona, reducing the gap to pacesetters Napoli to a single point.

Meanwhile, Piotr Zielinski scored a delightful volley to get off the mark in the 2025/26 campaign.

Hakan Calhanoglu provided the assist, picking Zielinski out on the edge of the box with a superb cross from the corner.

In addition, the 31-year-old was pulling all the strings in the middle of the park.

As Inter’s most creative player, Calhanoglu helped the Nerazzurri take complete control of the midfield.

He was calm and collected in possession, navigating the engine room with exceptional vision and laser-sharp passing.

Therefore, the former AC Milan midfielder recorded his first Serie A assist of the season.

Furthermore, he’s Inter’s top goalscorer in the league with five goals.
