Here is how much you can earn in Prize Money at Rome Open 2025 (Italian Open)

The Prize money for the 2025 Rome Open has been revealed. The tournament, scheduled to take place from May 7 to 18, features an increase prize distribution. It also if confirmed will finally see equal prize money between ATP and WTA.

The main draw will have 96 players with 32 seeded players, with no absences from the top-32 who will have a bye in the first round. In 2023, the tournament committed to equal prize money by 2025 so it should be the same as the ATP amounts which have been confirmed.

The tournament will see $985,030 on offer for the champion, while it is $523,870 for reaching the final. It is then $291,040 for reaching the semi-finals. Quarter-Finals will see players receive $165,670.

Alexander Zverev won the tournament last year. Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have dominated in previous years. Djokovic has won it six times. Nadal has won it 10 times.

Other winners have included Daniil Medvedev and Andy Murray. Albeit Roger Federer for instance never won it due to the dominance of Nadal and Djokovic. Carlos Moya, Felix Mantilla, Andre Agassi, Juan Carlos Ferrero and Magnus Norman were the only winners up to 2000 that won it that weren't Nadal or Djokovic aside from those mentioned.

Carlos Alcaraz seems likely to play, while Jannik Sinner will make his triumphant return to the sport after his doping ban was served.

Last year, Iga Swiatek saw off Aryna Sabalenka in the WTA final 6-2, 6-3. Swiatek has won Rome three times and will look for four this time around. She will be joined by Sabalenka as well as the usual supporting cast including Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Mirra Andreeva among others.
