Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Mohammed Kudus.

The West Ham United attacker is on the radar of multiple clubs, including Chelsea. However, he has informed the Hammers that he wishes to join Tottenham this summer.

“There have been three or four clubs interested in Kudus,” Mick Brown told Football Insider.

“But from what I hear, he’s narrowed his own market and made his intentions clear.

“He has told West Ham he’s not interested in any of the other suitors, whether that’s Chelsea or whoever, he’s only interested in going to Tottenham.”

Can Tottenham sign Mohammed Kudus?

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can secure an agreement with West Ham in the coming weeks. They need a dynamic attacker like him who will be able to slot into the wide areas as well as centrally.

Even though he had a mediocre season last year, he has the qualities to establish himself as a player for Tottenham. He will look to add goals and creativity to the side.

This is the right time for him to take the next step and join a bigger club. He will look to fight for trophies with Tottenham. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham come forward with an improved offer to get the deal done. They have previously had offers rejected for the player

Tottenham are looking to strengthen their squad adequately during the summer transfer window. They will hope to fight for trophies and secure Champions League qualification as well. They will need to plug the gaps in their squad.

Right for a new challenge

The 24-year-old is entering the peak years of his career, and he has done quite well in the Premier League. He knows the league well, and he should be able to settle quickly. It will be interesting to see if he can make an immediate impact.

Thomas Frank has done well to bring out the best in his players at Brentford, and he will look to get the best out of the Tottenham squad as well. Kudus struggled to hit top form last season, but the Danish manager could bring out the best in him.

Meanwhile, Chelsea need attacking depth on the side as well. It will be interesting to see if they switch their attention towards other targets now.
