How Bryan Mbeumo can keep unlocking Manchester United’s success

Bryan Mbeumo has quickly become one of the top picks for best Premier League summer signing of 2025, as he’s become a vital part of Ruben Amorim’s set-up.

Fresh off winning the Premier League Player of the Month for October 2025, he’s also been nominated for the PFA’s Player of the Month, currently being Manchester United’s most productive attacker.

The Cameroon international is leading the club both for goals and overall goal contributions; however he’s already done more for the club that what’s reflected on the scoresheet, having given the right side of the 3-4-3 a clear identity.

Only a few months into life at Old Trafford and Mbeumo has already claimed the inside-right lane as his own, taking in the right-hand number 10 role, partnering up with Matheus Cunha in supporting Benjamin Sesko up top.

However, Bryan Mbeumo is also perfectly placed to help United grow even further with his links to key midfield target, Carlos Baleba. The Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder not only plays with Mbeumo for the Cameroon international team, but it’s been reported that their bond is like one of brothers.

It’s well known that United are in the market for a new midfielder, with Baleba topping their shortlist at the end of the summer, still holding strong as their main target. As such, with the bond that Mbeumo and Baleba share, it’s highly anticipated that Mbeumo will be a defining factor in luring the talented midfielder to Old Trafford, further solidifying the centre of the pitch.
