Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Thierry Henry have destroyed Liam Rosenior on Monday Night Football last night.

As they always do on this show, they reviewed the Premier League games and the goals that were scored, and there was a focus on Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat against Newcastle United.

They took a close look at the only goal of the game from Anthony Gordon, and just how easy it was for them to score it due to Chelsea’s set up.

They went in on Liam Rosenior, and Henry even pointed at how the Chelsea boss was not even watching in the build up to the goal.

Henry and Carragher react

Jamie Carragher: “HOW CAN YOU ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN.”

Carragher: “We’re talking about players playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, costing huge fees, Reece James been described as the best player in his position in the world, and rightly so because he’s a fantastic player but how they allow that to happen because it wasn’t ‘the plan’ before the game.”

Thierry Henry: “He [Liam Rosenior] is not even looking at what’s happening… goal.”

Rosenior was obviously at fault, but they should have also been slating Wesley Fofana, who just didn’t even bother to run to get back. If he did, he would have stopped the goal, simple.

Jamie Carragher and Thierry Henry were on Monday Night Football, and they completely took apart Chelsea’s efforts to defend on Saturday.

Two Chelsea players had poor games against Newcastle, and it’s clear that one of them needs to be dropped.
