How New-Look Inter Milan Could Line Up After Two Major Incoming Transfers

Inter Milan could add Marco Asensio and Ederson to Cristian Chivu’s star-studded squad by the end of the summer transfer window.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, both players would immediately slot into the Nerazzurri starting line-up.

Inter will change formation under Chivu.

However, it will be a minor alteration, considering he’ll transform Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 set-up into a 3-4-2-1.

Though it’s only a subtle adjustment, it will trigger further personnel changes.

How Inter Milan Could Line Up with Ederson & Asensio

Inter Milan could soon part company with Hakan Calhanoglu.

Therefore, Ederson could arrive from Atalanta to fill the vacancy in the engine room.

After his notable rise in Bergamo, the Brazilian looks ready for a prominent role at San Siro.

Furthermore, Inter could make further tweaks in the final third.

Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram should lead the line no matter what.

However, unlike last season, Inter could have an advanced playmaker next term.

Indeed, Marco Asensio could occupy the role, with the Nerazzurri reigniting their interest in the PSG outcast.
