If there is one Tottenham player that has taken huge strides under Thomas Frank this season, then it is got to be Lucas Bergvall. The talented midfielder impressed the fanbase with his ability by playing well in crucial games last season due to the injury crisis at N17. But the Sweden international has surely managed to become a mainstay at the North London club under Frank this time around.

Thomas Frank is known to develop and improve talents, and it looks like he has already worked his magic on Bergvall. The 19-year-old has been utilised in different roles by the Spurs manager, giving the youngster a chance to showcase a different dynamic in his game.

Under Frank, the talented midfielder has operated in the #10 position for the Lilywhites. “Bergvall is a good player. He’s aggressive, he gets his foot in, and he gets around the pitch. Bergvall will score goals, he will make goals, and I think he’s grown up as a man from when he first came into the squad about six months ago.”

The ex-Leicester City manager has backed up his statement by adding,

“He looks like a proper player who’s going to be a real catalyst for Tottenham‘s season. I’m sure one day he’ll end up as captain of Tottenham. He does look like a full-on top-quality player.”

Martin Allen believes Lucas Bergvall has all the attributes that makes him to succeed under Thomas Frank’s system at Tottenham. The ex-Leicester City manager then shares that the Sweden international is surely going to be a vital part of the cog for the Lilywhites this season due to his impressive performances. Allen also claims that Bergvall has all the ingredients to assume captaincy at N17 in the coming years as well.
