INEOS officially sign PSG captain for club

INEOS have officially completed a signing involving Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester United have already been linked with one of PSG’s biggest young stars this summer.

Reports claimed the Red Devils were preparing an offer for Warren Zaire-Emery as Michael Carrick continues searching for a third midfielder.

United have already signed Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, but another major addition remains on the agenda.

PSG captain Marquinhos also featured alongside Manchester United star Matheus Cunha and former midfielder Casemiro at the 2026 World Cup.

Brazil suffered a disappointing last-16 exit against Norway, ending their hopes of adding a sixth star to their shirt.

However, INEOS have now secured the signature of another player who wore the captain’s armband for PSG.

INEOS complete deal for highly-rated Paris Saint-Germain player

FC Lausanne-Sport have officially announced the signing of Thomas Cordier following his departure from PSG.

INEOS own the Swiss club and OGC Nice, while the company also holds a stake in Manchester United and controls football operations at Old Trafford.

Cordier has signed a contract running until 30 June 2029 and will wear the number 22 shirt.

The 20-year-old left-back joined the French giants at the age of eight and completed his entire development within the French champions’ academy.

He won two French Under-19 championships and featured in the UEFA Youth League.

Cordier also captained PSG’s youth side on several occasions.

His performances earned him call-ups to PSG’s senior squad for Ligue 1 matches against Lens and Lorient last season.

Lausanne praised his pace, passing and ability to operate in different roles after confirming the transfer on their official website.

The move comes shortly after the Swiss side signed Tyler Fredricson from Manchester United on a deal until 2029.

Thomas Cordier will now hope to secure regular senior football and continue his development within INEOS’ wider football structure.
