The ‘Inside Track’ is being reported on Chelsea and Enzo Maresca’s stance on the Juventus interest coming in for the Blues boss.

It was reported last week that Italian side Juventus are keeping a close eye on the progress of Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca in a view of bringing him in as their manager in the near future. It’s just a monitoring thing right now but an interesting situation still.

Maresca is looking to get more success to add to the two trophies he won at the club last season and beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 last night kept them within the top pack of the Premier League chasing the biggest and ultimate goal this season of challenging for the league title.

It was a terrible first half for Chelsea though and they and Maresca truly needed that much better second half and to score those three late goals to grab the win and the important three points.

Is Maresca off to Juventus then?

Nope. Not at least according to insider Pete O’Rourke speaking on the Inside Track Podcast this weekend.

Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, O’Rourke explained on Maresca: “He’s fully focused on Chelsea right now.

“His focus is continuing to build on the success he had last season where got Chelsea back into the top four, into the Champions League, they won the Conference League, then they won the Club World Cup in the summer.

“This season, all focus will be seeing if he can improve on that and try and make Chelsea title contenders if possible.

“Chelsea are happy with Maresca, Maresca is happy at Chelsea. He’s under contract until 2029.

“He’s building a very talented young team there at Chelsea as well, so, I don’t think he’d be rushing out the door right now, but we know what management’s like.

“Things can quickly change if results go wrong.”
