Inter: Sommer 5; Bisseck 5.5, Acerbi 6.5 (Bonny N/A), Bastoni 6; Dumfries 6.5, Barella 6 (Zielinski N/A), Calhanoglu 5 (Esposito 5.5), Sucic 5.5 (Mkhitaryan 5), Dimarco 6 (Augusto N/A); Thuram 6.5, Martinez 5.5.
Coach: Chivu 5.5.
It was tough to pick a standout from a disappointing Nerazzurri display, but Thuram, who supplied the assist for Dumfries’ opener and remained a fairly constant threat in the final third, was probably the brightest spark.
Lowest Inter rating – Calhanoglu 5: A very underwhelming performance. His final ball and overall delivery were poor, and he was rightly substituted with 20 minutes to go while Inter chased the game.
Inter coach – Chivu 5.5: His substitutions and tactical tweaks failed to ignite the team but the players ultimately let him down.
Udinese: Sava 6.5; Solet 8, Kristensen 7, Bertola 7 (Goglichidze 6); Zemura 6, Atta 7.5, Karlstrom 6.5, Piotrowski 6.5 (Zarraga 6.5), Ehizibue 6 (Modesto N/A); Bayo 6 (Buksa 5.5), Davis 8.5 (Ekkelenkamp 6).
Coach: Kosta Runjaic 8.
Best Udinese player – Davis 8.5: While Solet and Atta were excellent, Davis stood out in his 70 minutes, helping set the tone in attack and contributing both a goal and an assist.
Lowest Udinese rating – Buksa 5.5: Hard to pick a ‘worst’ from a stellar Udinese display, but the substitute had almost no involvement in the game, limiting his impact.
Udinese coach – Kosta Runjaic 8: Made all the right choices to contain an Inter side that had looked dangerous in their opening game against Torino. His game management and tactical changes provided Udinese with the edge needed to secure the three points.
