Inter goalkeeper Emil Audero could well get an opportunity in Serie A next season, as he is in talks with newly-promoted Como.

The shot-stopper barely featured during the Scudetto-winning campaign, as Yann Sommer had the role locked down and rarely sustained injuries.

He arrived from Sampdoria on loan with an option to buy for €7m, but might not necessarily be asked to remain at San Siro, especially with interest in Atletico Paranaense goalkeeper Bento.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb and more, Audero could still get a chance in Serie A with Como, who earned promotion to the top flight along with Parma.

Audero has Indonesian connection with Como

There is another rather good reason why Como want to unite with Audero, as he is half-Indonesian and the clubs is owned by Indonesian businessmen.

Como director Mirwan Suwarso published a photograph on Instagram of himself with the goalkeeper, fuelling speculation of a potential agreement.

Born in Indonesia, the 27-year-old has played for Juventus, Venezia, Sampdoria and Inter.

He has 10 caps for Italy at Under-21 level, but none for the senior squad.
