Inter have already made it clear that they have no interest in parting company with versatile left-sided defender Carlos Augusto this summer, amidst interest from Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.

Inter have already decided on Carlos Augusto, before any Atletico offers

According to what was originally reported by Gianluigi Longari, Atletico Madrid have begun to show a willingness to pick up Carlos Augusto from Inter this summer. The LaLiga outfit had also explored a move to sign left-back Theo Hernandez from Milan earlier in June.

Their attention has since turned to the Nerazzurri side of San Siro, and are keen on a deal for Carlos Augusto, but Inter have already made it clear that they are not open to the idea of selling the Brazilian this summer.

That stance has only been cemented following the appointment of Cristian Chivu, who replaced Simone Inzaghi as head coach at the beginning of June.

As things stand now, Carlos Augusto is considered ‘unsellable’ for the Nerazzurri.
