Inter Miami is the current MLS champion, and despite the celebrations being at a high, the club looks to reinforce its squad ahead of the new season, which is a few months away.
The club will be without many key players next year, including Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. The two Spanish players were key in Inter Miami's triumph in the MLS this year due to their experience.
The club explored the possibility of signing more players from Europe to bring that experience into the team. Inter Miami is linked with many players ahead of the 2026 MLS Season, and one of the players they were linked with is free agent Sergio Reguilon.
Fabrizio Romano exclusively reported that Sergio Reguilon to Inter Miami is a done deal, and the Spanish left back will join the MLS champions.
Romano reported that the player that other clubs interested in him but Reguilon prioritized Inter Miami. Reguilon is 28 years old and will bring a lot of experience into the team, having played in top clubs throughout his career.

Sergio Reguilon started in the Real Madrid academy and played for the Spanish giants in the 2018-19 season. He then moved to Sevilla for a year and then played two years at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Reguilon was then loaned out to several clubs after joining Spurs in 2020.
For the 2022-23 season, Reguilon joined Real Madrid's local rivals, Atlético Madrid, for one season. After that year, he joined Manchester United in 2023, which lasted only four months. In 2024, he played six months for Brentford in the Premier League.
Reguilon then returned to Spurs from his loan spells and played six matches for them last season. He would lift the Europa League trophy earlier this year when Spurs defeated Manchester United 1-0.
