Inter Milan and AC Milan hope to agree a deal for the new San Siro by September after a key regional court decision.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews. They report that the clubs must buy the stadium by November.

Inter Milan and AC Milan are working to buy the San Siro and the surrounding land.

The two clubs are planning to construct a new stadium adjacent to the existing stadium.

And there is a particular deadline by which the two clubs must do so. They must purchase the stadium and surrounding land before the seventieth anniversary of the construction of the second tier.

Then, an injunction against construction around the second tier will come into force.

This week, a regional court ruled in favour of Inter and Milan. They ruled that the seventieth anniversary of the construction of the second tier is in November.

Therefore, the clubs can buy the stadium and the surrounding land.

However, they must do so before the start of November.

According to the Corriere della Sera, the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri are hoping to complete a deal by September.

Meanwhile, the newspaper anticipate that the clubs want to construct a 71,500 seat stadium.
