Inter Milan are pushing to make Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny their third signing of the summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan already looked to have completed a couple big transfer deals this summer.
The Nerazzurri already confirmed in February that midfielder Petar Sucic would be arriving this summer. Meanwhile, Marseille winger Luis Henrique also looks to be on the verge of a move.
However, the Gazzetta report, Inter are not stopping there.
Inter Milan are also keen to reinforce in attack this summer.
The likes of Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa will be leaving at the end of their contracts.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri certainly have to sign a striker. By all accounts, the priority is to sign a young attacker with room to grow, rather than focusing on another veteran player.
Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny looks to be the player who’s risen to the top of the Nerazzurri’s shortlist.
Inter believe that the 21-year-old has shown enough in his debut campaign in Serie A to prove that he can make the step up.
Meanwhile, the Gazzetta note, Inter do face competition for Bonny’s signature. Particularly from clubs in the Premier League.
Therefore, the newspaper report, Inter are not waiting around.
The Gazzetta anticipate that in the next few days, the Nerazzurri will push to finalize a deal to sign Bonny. They want to make the deal official before the start of the Club World Cup.
