Inter Milan have officially scheduled the start of their pre-season preparations for July 26 after the Club World Cup heartbreak.

Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Serie A runners-up also have two summer friendlies in mind.

Despite failing to go the distance in North America, Cristian Chivu will proceed with optimism.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri will reconvene at Appiano Gentile in late July to embark on their 2025/26 warm-up.

Inter Milan Set Pre-Season Kick-Off Date

Chivu will reunite with his players at the end of July.

Whether Hakan Calhanoglu will be part of the squad remains questionable.

However, with or without the Turkish star, Inter will likely contest two pre-season friendlies.

Indeed, the first should be against Greek giants Olympiacos.

Then, they could close their off-season campaign against last season’s Serie A basement boys Monza.

Chivu’s first pre-season task is to get his squad back on track after a heartbreaking campaign.

In addition to their only trophyless season under Simone Inzaghi, Inter stuttered at the Club World Cup.

Therefore, restoring confidence could be key.
