Inter Milan Starlet Leads Player Ratings As Chivu’s Men Top Serie A With Roma Win

Corriere dello Sport handed out their ratings after Inter won 1-0 against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, and the headline name was once again Ange-Yoan Bonny.

The young French striker received a 7.5 and Man of the Match, described as a player who “can’t be stopped anymore,” with quotes via FCInterNews.

The newspaper praised his “cool finish and quality,” noting how he punished Roma’s defensive lapse.

Furthermore, complimenting the former Parma man for “beating the best goalkeeper in Serie A at his near post.”

Right behind him came the core of Chivu’s structure.

Sommer, Acerbi, Barella and Mkhitaryan all received a 7, showing solidity, discipline, and personality in key moments.

Chivu himself was also awarded a 7, with the paper highlighting an Inter that “scores, fights, suffers, but ultimately wins.

Further strong ratings went to Bastoni, Calhanoglu, Dimarco and Lautaro Martinez (all 6.5).

Meanwhile Akanji, Dumfries and Pio Esposito were each given a 6.

The only insufficient mark went to Sucic (5.5), judged below the standard on the night.

With Bonny exploding, Chivu praised, and the spine of the team performing, Corriere’s conclusion was clear.

Inter have found rhythm, identity and results.
