Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito says his brother Francesco Pio is a “beast” but says there is “no competition” between them.

The 22-year-old spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, ahead of today’s Club World Cup match against Urawa Red Diamonds.

Sebastiano Esposito and his brother Francesco Pio Esposito are both currently back at Inter Milan.

Sebastiano spent last season on loan at Empoli. Meanwhile, Francesco Pio was at Spezia last campaign.

However, the two loan deals end. Therefore, the pair of brothers are now at Inter playing together for the senior team for the first time ever.

This is just for the Club World Cup. There is a sense that neither of the two brothers will be wearing the Inter shirt come the start of next season.

Nevertheless, both Sebastiano and Francesco Pio will have their role to play for Inter over the next few weeks.

Sebastiano Esposito Calls Francesco Pio A “Beast”

Sebastiano Esposito said that playing together with Francesco Pio is “great on a personal level.”

“I already played with [his other brother] Salvatore for six months at SPAL,” he noted. “And so doing the same now with Pio is great.”

Meanwhile, Sebastiano said that his younger brother “has grown a lot.”

“He’s become a beast on a physical level,” said the 22-year-old striker.

“We’re in the dressing room together. We always talk, and starting with the next match he should be available because he’s recovered from his injury.”

Then, Sebastiano joked that “let’s hope he can do the opposite of what I did against Monterrey – score a goal!”

And as far as the relationship between the brothers, Sebastiano insisted that “there’s no competition between us.”
