Inter Milan have tied Under-20 striker Matteo Spinacce down on his first professional contract.

The Nerazzurri confirm the new deal for the 18-year-old after his heroics in the UEFA Youth League against Lille.

Spinacce has been one of the bright lights of Inter’s Under-19 or Primavera team this season.

The Nerazzurri have been enjoying a strong season at youth team level. They have particularly shone in European competition.

The likes of summer signing Luka Topalovic and versatile winger Giacomo De Pieri have been among the leading lights.

But recently, another young forward stepped into the limelight playing for Andrea Zanchetta’s Primavera side.

In a recent UEFA Youth League match against Lille, Inter’s Primavera or Under-19 team won by a scoreline of 3-1.

And the player who really powered the Nerazzurri to that victory was young striker Spinacce.

The 18-year-old scored two of Inter’s three goals in that victory.

Therefore, Inter have rewarded Spinacce for his surge in recent form.

The Nerazzurri confirm that they have handed the teenage striker a new deal. They confirm that is a multi-year deal, although not for how long.

And this is in fact the first senior professional contract that Inter youth academy graduate Spinacce has signed.
