Inter Milan are reportedly working to sell midfielder Kristjan Asllani, but the player is currently refusing all offers.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Kristjan Asllani has come to the end of his third season as an Inter player.
The Albanian joined the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2022 from Empoli.
Whilst Inter had high expectations for Asllani when they signed him, the young midfielder has never quite managed to live up to them.
Asllani has had some positive moments in an Inter shirt. However, crucially, he has never looked like he can inherit a starting spot in holding midfield.
Inter Milan are ready to listen to offers for Kristjan Asllani this summer.
In Italy, the likes of Fiorentina and Bologna have shown an interest in the Albanian’s signature.
Meanwhile, Real Betis have also shown an interest in the former Empoli midfielder.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are willing to negotiate with Betis, or with any other club. Meanwhile, they are also listening to other offers from abroad.
However, Asllani himself is not convinced by the prospect of moving to La Liga.
Therefore, the Gazzetta dello Sport report, Inter are unable to move the 22-year-old on for a fee. This is the source of some frustration, as they are hoping that a fee in the €10-15 million range could go towards investing in transfer targets.
